« on: May 01, 2008, 01:55:45 pm »
Does anyone know where I could find out what n64 games only used 3 buttons + a joystick , it's to play on a cab with that set up. I know most probably used a lot more but I think there must be a few , any help would be great
Help I'm useless !!!!

  • Yeah, owning a MAME cab only leads to owning real ones. MAME just isn't good enough. It's a gateway drug.

I can't think of a single one.
An N64 in a cab with only three buttons?
Good luck with that...

Chef's Love Shack? Jeopardy and other game show games maybe?

There must be some.

You could probably get by with Mario Kart 64 and Super Smash Brothers . .

Mario Kart needs at least four (gas, brake, fire, hop/slide)

Tried to reply but got a timeout  :'(

I suggested having the N64 (if using the actual box) be available from the cab for the real controllers, or have ports for PC controllers to plug into. The N64 wasnt made to be arcade-able, and as such most of the games rely on the design of the controller. (Most people wont mind if they cant use the CP to control an N64 game, just as long as they can actually control the game)
