SOLD: Dreamcast system w/ controller
« on: April 30, 2008, 03:29:42 pm »
Hi,

I have for sale a dreamcast system with power cable, av cables, and 1 controller.

This dreamcast was manufactured May 2000

SOLD

Please Read:

This unit has been repaired.  The solder on one of the pins on the connector for the cooling fan had popped off of the controller port pcb and only made contact intermittenly.  This kept the dreamcast from booting up sometimes.  I ran a wire directly from the pin to the pcb so now the connection is solid and it boots up just like it is supposed to.

I did a little research and found that a resistor will often fry when an agetec stick is used.  I replaced this resistor with one of a higher value as described here:

Now the controls work as they should.

Thanks for looking!
Matt
