DK will be going in what is currently a dk3 machine that has a nintendo powersupply.  I've actually got it wired to accept the nintendo power or a switching power ( mod made while troubleshooting the DK3 board) .  Any differences between the 2 and 4 board version?  connectors/gameplay?  cost?

I hear 2 boards are more reliable.

yes I would stick with 2 board version. The 4 board version also had a different harness.

Ok..Sounds like I need a 2 board.  Anyone have one for sell or a referral to a reputable/inexpensive source?

What do you consider inexpensive?

If you have a DK3 board that is broken or working correctly, Mike's Arcade does the trade in thing.  You send him your board and he will lower the price on buying a DK board from him.

Just throwing that option out there.  Contact him through email if that is what you want to do.

Did you contact Mike yet?

Take a look at this page

He sells the Ms pac boards for more than the DK 2 board sets.

Ask him about an exchange, escpecially if the ms pac is working.  You never know, may as well try.
