Yo Lutus, I wish I had known that before I sent you the SI mirror (although it probably wouldn't have fit in the same box :)).   I have a working SI game board.   There's another BYOAC member who has dibs if he wants it, but otherwise either of you should PM me if you're interested.

Wow!  Who woulda' known there were so many people on the lookout.

I have the gameboards (no harness, it's gone) as well as the moon and the cardboard parts.  I also have an SI CP but it's in the shape that most of these are in, which is 'used' and I have the monitor but the board for the monitor would need some work.   Before dismantling it, my SI worked, but played blind.  A couple times I got the picture to come on, but then it would go out.  There is part of the monitor board that's disintigrated, so unless anybody wants it to experiment on, it's probably not something anybody would want to buy.

I offered the gameboards up to wmba who I've sold the power components to.  I'm not sure if he's interested or not, but he'd have first dibs.   I'm sure I have pics around here because I sent some to him, so if anybody's interested in any of the parts and wants to see them, let me know.

These are the prices I quoted to wmba a while back.

- orange moon -> $18 +s/h
- black cardboard bezel + sky cardboard -> $12 +s/h
- Game boards -> $38 +s/h

I'm on and off the BYOAC forums these days because of real life, but I get email notifications of PMs so feel free to PM me and I'll get back to you within... days :)

EDITED as to not thread jack.   Sorry to all who were potentially interested in my SI gameboards, but they're now spoken for.

Good luck!

After asking around online, it seems that a working board set is around $125+ shipping. I was going to bite the bullet and order one this week, but craigslist changed my mind. I got one for $150, and it came in a really cool box.  :)

The screen worked but after a few minutes, it would start rolling to the right and the picture stopped halfway. I left it on for a couple of hours to see what it would do, and it was rolling steadily. I opened the side door, adjusted the pot, now it works perfect. I love easy fixes!

I am hoping with all working parts in this one, I can figure out what is wrong with the upright and fix it. Then I will have to decide which to keep and which one to sell.

I KNEW I should have held out for $39.99!
