speaker advice for wall mounted juke
« on: April 20, 2008, 10:01:44 pm »
I have a set of klipsch pro media 2.1 speakers and there is no way that sub is gonna fit in my juke. I have a smaller sub from a cheaper set of pc 2.1 speakers. Could i cut the amp out of that and wire my klipsch satelites into it. Would the klipsch satelites sound ok without a subwoofer? Please any advice or ideas are welcome. Or can anybody recomend a good set of 2.0 speakers with decent sound. I dont listen to rap so i dont need a lot of bass.

Why not wire the smaller sub temporarily to the larger one's amp output? At least you'll know before too much hacking that way.

Any 2.1 speaker system without the sub is going to sound poor. You don't need a sub just for rap ya know!

You're best off listening to any speakers before buying them. The lie sheet (specs) won't give you any real idea.
