joystick length?
« on: April 19, 2008, 10:24:49 pm »
I purchased a couple of mag-stick plus joysticks and got the "ball top handles regular length" instead of the "long length" because I wanted to change out the bat shaped grip and I didn't want an extra long handle.

Afterwards, I learned that the "long length" should be used if you're undermounting the joystick, and decided to leave the bat shaped grip on, since it extends the joystick a little higher, even though the stalk is about the same length.

Today though, I changed out the handle in one stick and was comparing the way my hand sits on both, and found that the short ball top allows my hand to rest more comfortably on the control panel while I'm playing.

Has anyone else used the "regular length" handles with an undermount?
