Coindoor Offset or Flush?
« on: April 15, 2008, 03:33:58 pm »
Just a quick question, I'm about to screw in my coindoor board to the side panels but I'm wondering if everyone keeps it flush to the edge, like where it t-molding will be, or do you offset it, recessing it 3/4" back from the edge...?

I'm curious what the majority of you guys have done, and what's the most 'old school' authentic, I can't remember for the life of me!

(I'll obviously be offsetting my marquee section 3/4" on top and in front.)

My side panels always stand proud of the insides at least by 3/4" all the way around - that little reveal is essential, IMO.

Cool, thanks man... I was thinking that too but I'm now second-guessing myself on these details.  I was leaning that way but needed a little nudge, haha.

3/4" offset for me too. It looks much better that way.

I set my front panel back about 1/4".

It looks good to me, but what do I know?   :dunno
