Z-Axis problem with Mame
« on: April 11, 2008, 07:58:20 pm »
Hey there.. just bought a turbotwist2, and was all excited about the z-axis... but it doesn't work in mame..  So, with a little investigation, I realize that the spinner work on the z-axis in the rest of my computer, just not mame.  Neither does the mouse wheel.

Now, I should mention I am using linux, and have tried xmame.x11, xmame.SDL, and advancemame... all v.106, all won't see the z-axis.

Before I drop money on an optipac, is there something I can do?  Is there something I am doing wrong?

I don't know about Linux but it does work in MAME, just not very well on the z-axis. You can read the thread below to see the problems other are having with newer versions of MAME.
