p360 problems
« on: April 10, 2008, 08:10:02 am »
Hello yall! Im new to this boards and what a way to get started by askin for some help lol..

anyway i just tried installing my happ p360 to my mas stick... heres a recap of my steps...

first what i did was try and locate where the 5v line... then i tried and firgured out how the black wire that came wif the p360 is supposed to work... when i first got my mas stick it came witha comp... the comp had this black and white wire that was soldered to each of the switches that the comp had.. once i took out the comp and put in the p360 i didnt know wat to do wif this black and white wire... so what i did was solder the black wire from the p360 to the same end point that the black and white wire was soldered to.. Im assuming what this black and white wire was the ground wire when the comp was in... did i do a wrong thing by soldering the black cable the way i did?(trying to solder the black ground wire from the p360 and the black and white ground wire that was already installed to the mas) should i just desolder that black and white wire take it out and solder the black wire the same way the black and white wire was??

And about this 5v line... i think i got it in the right spot but i cant really tell... when i plugged my mas into the dc to play the joystick was not responding... i play marvel so i used that to test... i selected a character.. got to the stage and cable just kept jumping.. i could stop, walk, crouch or anything like that... is that a result of not hooking up down left right properly? or is it a result of the bad 5v connection...? ???

if P360 hold all directions (but in game one has random prioryty) -  probably is bad +5V

DC get only 3,3V:P P360 need 5V this works but joystick dies after 1-2year. bad +5V - shorten his life 3x. old version Wico P360 it has larger tolerance

I have not AIM and my English is disastrous. I do not know PCB mass system but the lack of tension it is effective with hold all directions.

i dont know how to correctly find the 5vline
seek multimeter digital, you will find from tension cable quickly
