Mala Starting Picture is too small
« on: March 29, 2008, 10:02:46 pm »
Hey all,

Quick question, I have designed a 800x600 startup picture for Mame, but when you start it the picture is the original small size.  Where in the layout editor can I change the numbers?  I looked around but didnt find anything.

I'm not following what you mean by Mala Starting Picture.  Do you mean the Mala splash screen that only comes up when you first start Mala?  Or do you mean the graphic that briefly shows whenever you start a game?  Or perhaps you mean the layout background picture?

Say when you go start Mala up and you're in the Mame layout and you pick a game (player 1), that second you may have a little box that shows up saying "starting" or something like that just before the game is loaded.  That's what I mean.  On my old config I had an 800X600 pic like this one:

I am assuming you're running a screen resolution higher than 800x600?  Do you have the settings configured similiar to the image below?  It works fine on my end.  No matter how small an image I'm using, Mala stretches it to full screen for me.

Sweet!  That did it.
I was looking all over the layout options for something but I was on the wrong end.
Thanks SGT
