3) Download the same size or specs/filesize/ram...whatever is compatible with the SD card and jamma pcb ,..recommended games of my choice from ANY downloadable website onto a SD card

You have used Mario Bros as an example of a game that you would download and install.

As I tried to point out, you would be breaking the law by doing so.

*You* are the one who doesn't understand, yet you persist in behaving like a rude little twerp.

* CheffoJeffo returns to his previously-scheduling anode-cap-licking. ZZZZaaappp!

ok,..i see...ill download some cheaper looking mario game (not original) like MARIO-BRUTHAS....right?

WRONG!

You can only run games that the emulator on the board supports (it's not a bloody PC running Windows ... it's a custom-written emulator that you know nothing about) ... you can't just download stuff and expect it to work.

* CheffoJeffo is running out of monitors to lick ...

Well, not if he owns a Mario Bros. PCB with all the roms AND if he lived over here....we are allowed to back-up for personal use.

Anyway, I didn't know about Clay being involved in this, I assumed it was just another far-east job.... Not that it really matters. I'd probably have a look at it myself if I owned a board like that. Just out of curiosity....

Same applies here, but I think we can safely say that neither is true of the brat ...

My friend, I've posted 3186 times here. I'm pretty sure I did not always write what the mods agreed with, but it's the tone that makes the music.

If you're going on this way, you're not going to reach posting number 42......

Tone down please.

I've asked you nicely, I'm not a mod, but I know when they get itchy fingers.

We're here to help you, even discuss with you on things we may not agree on but this is not the way IMHO.

OK, I'll accept that perhaps *I* am the one who doesn't understand ... but I really don't think that's the case.

And the differences between Level42 and you are legion -- starting with the fact that he understands what he is talking about, so can talk sensibly about the topic. The very fact that you keep saying that people don't understand what you are talking about should tell you something -- after all, it's not like you have a bunch of noobs posting in this thread.

Let's see if this time I can stay away from this trainwreck.

youre right.

To be clear, I fully understand what *I* would do ... if you search, you''ll find the thread where the folks at Hanaho first talked about the board in question and can read what I said back then.

I think what you're not understanding Brat, is that what you have there is a commercial product, created to make a PROFIT. Why would the circuit board designer (Clay Cowgill and his company) help you modify the board to run any games you want to on it? That's quite a naive thought. It would be like asking Steve Jobs/Apple how to hack your Ipod.

But on the other hand, I too would be curious to see what's on that SD-card. Pop it into my SD reader, and then see what happens if I tweak files or use another SD card. So can't blame you for that curiosity. But understand you risk permanently disabling the entire board if it has protections on it.
NO MORE!!

("But understand you risk permanently disabling the entire board if it has protections on it.")
i dont think the "board" has protections on it, but i could be wrong,...i think it just has limitations,..however the sd card has protection,..if thats what you meant,. I am going to get a writer/reader,..and see how FAR my friends & I  can get with it,..if we cant do nothing,..then i guess ill just have to accept the fact that (it) cannot be hacked.,...but im not alone,..other people from all over the states are actually doing the hacking as we speak,..for as long as the machine has been on the market,..And when someone does,..they will share or sell the info (up to them)  anything can happen!...and its gonna take alot of time to do so,..taking notes & step by step mock tests to make sure it will work.,

now some of you might say to yourself

"this guy is stealing the codes to gain $$$"
"this guy is breaking the law"

then i wont have any part of it then,...i dont want to get in trouble,..
all i wanna do is put games on a card to play other games at will..
after all, you can download music, photos, video, files etc..
mamers do it all the time, download what they want ..why cant i,.
maybe ill mame the thing,..and enjoy it that way,..to me its all the same  :censored:

I thought they were no longer in production.

I can't find any good information on this "PVG TECH, INC." and the pvgtech.com website doesn't work either.
