3 words: Harbor Freight Tools
They have CHEAP tools. The general concensus is that unless you use it daily as a contractor and are only the occassional wood worker, most of their stuff will last as long as you need it, and if it should break, even buying a replacement you're ahead of paying the big $ for the "name brand" stuff.
Yes you have to look carefully and make good choices. Some of their stuff is as good as any name brand, some not as good.
