  • Yeah, owning a MAME cab only leads to owning real ones. MAME just isn't good enough. It's a gateway drug.

Are these genuine Happ controls (Game Cabinets, Inc)?

Back in the summer, I bought a few buttons from there and it says Genuine Happ Controls, but mine don't have the Suzo/Happ name on them, and Happ nuts only fit if they are the dull ones, not the shiny ones.

No big deal, but I noticed this when building my panel and using the leftover buttons I had.

I bought all my buttons for the CP from DiveMaster, so those are good, but I needed an extra or two, and those were....off....

Yes... Those are genuine Happ buttons... Lots of people deal in them.

If you need those then go back to Divemaster, or talk to Ponyboy, he had them in stock last time I looked. Both of them supply them for slightly less than that site.

And research indicates that Space Invaders are strongly attracted to people who have recently eaten meat pies.

I second what fozzy said. Most all of the parts that gamecabs use are happ. I accually have bought quite a bit of odds and ends parts from them, being they are only about 10min from my house. Cool bunch of guys.

I just thought it was odd because the ones I got from DM have the Suzo/Happ on them, but these did not.

Oh, and I wasn't planning on ordering from there again (it was before I had other sources, and was one of the first Google finds :D ). I'll stick with DM for my controls (gotta support local business!)
