Your cabinet looks good.

Your arcade needs a few more machines.
Working: Not Enough

lol iam already considering making another since my wood working skills have increased greatly.

It starts with one, then another. Next you move on to dedicated machines. After that you start going to auctions and game shows filling your basement with games and projects.

Then you start with the DIY monitor and pcb repair and you are hooked!

Get out NOW!

This stuff is more addicting than crack.

Nice job BTW.

my first project, first time using power tools...

Even if it hadn't been your first time using power tools, it's still an excellent cabinet. Well done! Quality work!

Looks nice, I really like the dimensions. How wide is the cabinet, and how wide is the control panel? (Just curious)

its a big cabinet

the cabinet is 29 1/2 wide

the control panel is 35 1/2

it will accomidate a 27 inch tv with no problems. (which is why i went so wide)

the only thing i diddnt take into account is the tv sticks out in the back by about 2 inches.. which is not that big of a deal i just cant put a back on the cabinet.  Being that the cabinet will be up agaisnt a wall you wont even know once everything is in place.

It looks great - don't let the first coat or two of primer discourage you.  MDF looks terrible after the first coat and I always think it's ruined... but then it magically comes out great once some more (thin) coats are added.

thanks :)

i actually just finished applying the first coat of primer, and i have to say it took forever, painting the inside of the cab took the longest.  it actually doesnt look too bad at all, i went very thin with it.

i guess i'll give it a light sanding later tonight around 8 pm and then hit it with another primer coat tomororw

the paint is dry already...    btw iam using latex based paint and i have ran into no problems. (thank god)

the paint quality will be no where near yours jave, but iam not too concerned with that as long as it looks smooth.
