If you're in the LA area, I won an empty cabinet on Ebay (for $20!) but I went there with my SUV and it was just too long to put in the back, like 72", 74".  I'd have to rent a truck for $20-$40 extra to get it back to my house and, honestly, I'd rather just try to build one instead.  So, if anyone wants it, and you can pick it up in the Glendale area of LA, let me know (jasonhoneycutt@hotmail.com).  I was just gonna let the guy keep it, not worth the trouble to me after I saw it, but I'd rather one of your guys take it, ya know?

I think it's fairly narrow, like 19", 20" wide, I can't remember, the guy didn't post specs on it.  It's not too bad but definitely needs a strip and repaint, as well as a whole new control panel (table top style).  I'm not sure what it used to be, think there's a Data East thing on the side.  There is a monitor mount ready to go, not sure the exact size though.

No gimmick or anything, I know I'd be skeptical.  Just shoot me an email and I'll tell the guy (who owns a retro arcade machine place) who's gonna pick it up instead of me.  But here's a pic of it (from the Ebay page):

If nobody wants it, it'll go to waste.

Anyone?  Anyone?  I figure I'll just tell the by at the end of the week to keep it if nobody wants it.

Also, I remember the original posting saying it can hold a 25" monitor I think that would just be a 'real' arcade screen because it's not super wide, the edges won't allow for a CRT that big, I'd say a 19" would fit comfortably, with a little slack on each side.

BASS!

  • Just have fun.

That looks like a old gutted punisher cab. If you were in Washington I'd snag it. :(

I'm local to Glendale, but I don't have a truck... and my wife would kill me if I brought another cab into the garage (even for free). Out of curiosity, you said the guy has a retro arcade place. Is it the Vintage Arcade Superstore on San Fernando?
