Tough question -- Which cabinet?

Ok, I can get a gutted old Centipede cab which is gonna require some clean up, a paint job, an a new back door, for $40

OR

I can get a premium Sega Quartet cabinet with all doors, in perfect shape for $125

I'm low on cash, but the quartet cab looks to have the extra area I'd like for controls.

I need opinions

I say go with the one that brings back the most memories. Technically I'd go with the one with the larger monitor. I don't think that the centipede will fit all the sticks and buttons well.

SEGAAAAAAAA! ;D if it still has all the buttons and sticks et cetera, go wiith the sega. actually, go wtih the sega anyway, because of the size of cp and the fact that the moniter is newer (les likely to spaz on 'ya). also, gotta luv that sideart (same cab down the street from me)
It's all about the Pentiums

That quartet cab is the most hideous akward thing ever! But then again, so are most of the "DELUXE" Mame cabinets :)

I would go witht the sega also. Lots more room for just about anything you'd want to put on the cp.
Great big gobs of greasy grimey gopher guts.

Someone had to say it!

Get the Centipede Cab!   I got one about two weeks ago and man it brings back some memories!  I'm going for the older 80's feel, I'm going to make inner changeable control panels.   I already have the original track ball panel and I just bought a stripped Dig dug panel.

That cabinet may be uglyier than sin, but it has the advantage of being complete and having the control panel space. Plus there is another advantage many other may not have thought of...

Plenty of places to set your BEER while you play! ;D
