WTB: Star Wars (working) cabinet
« on: March 09, 2008, 03:07:42 am »
Ok, I'm getting weary of my search to bring a Star Wars (working) cab home for an acceptable price. Is there anybody out there that's just ready to unload their Star Wars or know of anybody that is?

I'm in Utah, so I can pick up in the Utah/Colorado/Wyoming/New Mexico/Nevada/Idaho area, but I'd be happy to pay for shipping from destinations outside of my pick up range as well.

I am in Nampa Idaho.  I have a SW upright in very good condition.  Rebuilt monitor with low voltage mod,  new caps, etc...  cabinet itself is in 8/10 condition.  New marquee.  I wasn't looking to sell,  but depending on how desperate you are and what you are offering,  I could be swayed.

Well...converted to dollars, what kind of desperation are you looking for?

Well Brother Jeff...I doubt you're desperate enough,  but $1,200 U.S. would likely cause me to consider...

I could email photos if you were (somehow) interested.

$300 + a 25" Primal Rage cab for a non working SW...repaired the monitor...sent the boardset out to Mspaeth for repair and ESB kit installed...rebuilt the yoke with a deluxe rebuild kit...new marquee...LV board for the 6100.  If I add up everything I put in to it I am at about $800 or so anyway.

Heh, I'd bite on that Frizz if I didn't have a pending offer for less. Still, I wouldn't fault you for upping the price to include time, restoration effort, and attachment factor.

That ESB kit makes me drool, however.

Hope to hear your offer goes through.  If it doesn't...and you're interested in talking...lets.

Just messing with you - that's still a great price...
