Jillian's auction in Denver tomorrow - 2 brand new Makvision 29"

It looks like most of the stuff is way out of my league.  Superauctions always seems to cater to businesses though.  They did have a parts room with 2 brand new Makvision monitors (sell at Happ for $490) and about 50 coin doors plus a ton of other parts.  I really doubt it will sell for $1500 +.  Anyone interested in going in on it?

They also had a lazer-tron skill stop game that was not working that would be great for mame.  It had an imperial trackball and huge - maybe 27" monitor and a computer inside.  Not sure what was wrong with it though.

One of the newer anniversary machines they were selling played Centipede, Millipede, Bowling and Missile Command  I thought they stay with all horizontal or vertical games on those remakes.  Kind of funny.

Damn I wish I knew about this sooner -- not sure if I'll be able to make it now.  I sure would like to go.  I didn't even know there was a Jillians in Denver.  I thought the one in Houston was way better than Dave and Busters.

The only two things I am really interested in is the lazer-tron and the parts.  I think everything else will go high.  It still should be a fun day though.  I'll give you a good deal if I score on the monitors  (or I still have those dotronix if you want one)

I'm actually good in the monitor department (and the 29" is too big for my cab).  Let us know how it turns out.

Man, that was a madhouse.  The auction was supposed to start at 10, but there were probably still 200 people waiting in line to register, so it didn't get started till after 11 and went till around 11:30pm.  There were bidder numbers over 3000!

Most of the stuff went pretty high.  They started with the Galaga/Miss Pac-man and it went for $2600.  And you have to add 13% on top of that!  Most of the video games didn't go for less than $1000.  They had a few pinball tables that went for over $2000, pool tables went for $1500 - $2500.  And there was a shuffleboard that went for $3000.  Those redemption games for kids were really going high.  One of the better deals I saw was a Star Trek Voyager cockpit that went for $350.  It had a bad board, but had a working monitor and was in good shape otherwise.

The parts room went for $2600.  That was a little too much for me .  I did score on the Lazer-tron redemption game - $100.  Nobody wanted it, and with all the people there I was really suprised.  And one exactly like mine - granted it was working, went for $850 earlier.  It had a Makvision 29" monitor also - SWEET.  Hopefully just the game board is bad.  It also had a cool sign/marquee that you mount on top.

The real killer was that Superauctions policy is that the auction has to be over before you can start taking your stuff.  They started letting people load up around 10:30pm.

Wow, at least you scored something.  I'm always amazed with the stories of games going for ridiculously cheap at auctions around the country.  Not around here apparently.
