Setup KeyWiz with Mala
« on: March 01, 2008, 12:36:32 pm »
I am trying to setup my system.  I have a KeyWiz ST and am using Mala as my frontend.

If I manually upload the KeyWiz key setup then start Mala, everything works fine.  If I try to start the KeyWiz upload automatically (using the /A/L/PA modifiers) it fails miserably.  I get an error that says the KeyWiz was not detected.

How is the best way to setup Mala to use the default MAME keyset with the KeyWiz ST?

maybe Im missing something, but I dont think you need to do anything to use the mame default keys?
You dont need the uploader unless you are changing the default keys, i think.
