You mentioned that you may be working on a lighted joy awhile back.  Any updates?

I hope I don't sound high-maintenance by submitting this request.  I know a lot of people were pretty happy with the slikstik lighted joysticks.  However, I also know that people were disappointed that they only came in opaque.  There may be a market for colored translucent ball top handles that fit the slikstik handle......or maybe it's just me that would buy it.  Anyway, thank you for all the great products Randy and for entertaining our requests.

Thanks for bumping this Darq.  I was wondering what the options were regarding lighted joys now that SS is out of business.

You should check with Scott from Mameroom and see if he has any left.

As far as Randy's "future product" is concerned, yes, an update would be great.  I held off on buying the Mameroom (Slikstik part) version in anticipation of Randy's which would work with the LED Wiz.

Even something like Franco's solution, the hollow joysticks to fit Sanwa joysticks. They match up with the clear balltops from lizardlick.

Has anyone spoken with Franco?  I have sent him a number of PMs about the hollow shafts but he's not spoken about them in days on days.

I've been trying to get onto him as well, I'm guessing he's just been busy lately.

So Slikstik is gone for good? I was under the impression that they were still around.

I believe so... see for yourself: http://www.slikstik.com/

Either that or the web providers didn't get their money either!   :laugh2:

What about you Cornchip, your lit battops on Knievel's Evo cab are pretty special, considered making them for others?

With Slikstik gone.....it could be a possibility. I have recently bought an older precision lathe for my home workshop. It would be more than capable of producing handles etc. I might just have to look into this.

All hardware is in-hand and looking good.  Uncle Sam wants his cut this time of year, so we are dealing with boring, but necessary business stuff at the moment.

Soon....very soon....

Is there any possibility these will be compatible with u360's? Or will they be a complete package (as in the whole controller itself).

Franco goes by Franco B now.  I just got a PM from him yesterday on this very subject.  If you have the tools it is not too hard to do.  I've done one on my Jet Mini wood lathe.

Was pretty sure I sent the PM to that account, I'll resend it just in case I've been sending it to the wrong one heh.
