Ipac problem
« on: February 28, 2008, 08:06:02 pm »
I have an Ipac-4 that suddenly has started burping.  If I'm playing a game like galaga, the controls will stop working for 1-2 seconds and then start working again.  It seems to do this on most games.  I've double and triple checked wiring but can't find anything wrong.

Has anyone seen this before?

The only time that's ever happened to me was when a quick disconnect was pretty loose on the connector.  :dunno

No loose connectors.  I've checked and re-checked that.  It isn't just a single button going dead either.  It is every input.  I've replaced the USB cable and still have the same problem.  The period of time it goes dead is very consistent too.  It is always just for a second or two.  It seems more like a driver issue.
