HELP mamewah and project 64
« on: February 26, 2008, 11:49:47 am »
Can't get it to even generate the games list. Depending on list_generation_method selected, I either get nowhere or get "missing plugin" message. My ini is attached, googled it till blue in the face. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Are you using MAMEWAH 1.62b13?

Please don't double post the same question.

For Nintendo64 download the wrapper and edit Project64Wrapper.cfg with your paths. Your ini should look something like this:
Code: [Select]
### n64.ini (mamewah v1.62) ###

emulator_title                            Nintendo 64

### List Generation Settings ###
rom_path                                  C:\juegos\n64\roms
rom_extension                             zip
dat_file
nms_file
catver_ini_file
list_generation_method                    rom_folder

### Execution Settings ###
pre_emulator_app_commandlines

post_emulator_app_commandlines
general_app_commandlines

### Artwork Settings ###

enable_fuzzy_search                       0
history_dat_file                          auto
history_dat_artwork_no                    2

### Screen-Saver Settings ###
enable_music_in_screensaver               0
select_random_game                        0

turns out i used mamewah 1.62b13 instead of 1.62b13.a. apparently that version of mamewah had issues with list generation. it now works. i will try to tackle the rest tonight. I could run project 64 from the command line, so should be able to get it to work. Is wrapper required even if I use cracked version of project 64 with escape=exit?

Apologies for the double post, could I delete it, don't see an option for that.

I think you still need the wrapper.

it is working, no wrapper is required, just get cracked exe from jcrouse site which is a great resource, many thanks.
