I just received an Arcade VGA2 (PCIe version) from Divemaster and was attempting to install it when I ran into the following problem while installing the Windows XP drivers (no cd supplied so I downloaded it here:
http://www.ultimarc.com/avgadrivers.htmlI followed the instruction on Ultimarc's website:
http://www.ultimarc.com/avgainst.htmlI get this error message during the install:
"Severe - This display driver is not compatible with the display adapter(s) installed in your system"
Any ideas on what I should do? I disabled the onboard graphics adapter and uninstalled the NVidia Drivers before installing the Arcade VGA 2 card so I am at a loss as to why it is not working.
Perhaps I have the wrong drivers? Are the drivers on the link above for the ArcadeVGA and NOT the ArcadeVGA2?
Not sure if this matters or not, but I am running Tiny XP Beast edition. When I uninstalled the Nvidia drivers it should have installed basic VGA drivers, but I'm not sure if Tiny XP has them or not. Should I manually install a standard VGA driver from my Windows XP Pro CD first and then install the Arcade VGA2 drivers?
Thanks in advance!
