ISO: Cabinet in VA
« on: May 20, 2003, 01:33:56 pm »
I'm searching for a cabinet in virginia (and parts of nearby states) if anyone knows of one thats either free or cheap and would make a good mame cabinet probably for 4 players etc and is nearby Blacksburg, VA or Danville, VA or Roanoke, VA or within 2 hours or so drive of any of these places I'd really appreciate if you'd let me know at hanks@vt.edu

Also if anyone knows of auctions or places to buy these nearby that would be some good info as well  :D

Hey there folks,

I just moved out here (Williamsburg, VA) from Oklahoma and I haven't been able to find anything in the area as far as parts or wherehouses, nothing!  If you find anything at all let me know. I'm dying to find a local parts dealer I can swing by and look at CPs and scrap pieces they have...

Anywho, if i find anything I'll post it.
Matt
Of course that's just my opinion, I could be wrong.

your gonna mame it. i know it's no classic, its not even that great of a game, but a mint cab should not be mamed. Now that you have the cab, why not build an exact repro, and keep um side by side. or take dimensions and sell it, or something. i'm not one to fight for the reights of arcades, but it is mint. keep it that way.

It is his cab and he can do as he wishes...I don't think it's your place to tell him what he "should" do with it...

That is a Hanaho (Midway) cabinet you got on your hands there!!! It may very well be the BEST cabinet ever made (IMO)!

You would be doing this community a GREAT service by measuring it off and posting some sort of measurements of it. Be precise, though, if you're gonna do it. Those are beautiful cabinets, though. I know several people have shown interest in building them before.

If you could do that it would be absolutely great...  ;D

(If you feel like it.)

touche. oops. didn't mean to sound so bossy. sorry. but if you do mame it, please put up some specs. it may not be the best cab ever, but it is a nice design, perfect for someone wanting a 4-player cab with a proportionate cp
