I thought it was a cased / de-cased poll, but I searched and can't find it.

there was a response that had a link to the PC metal tray (Lian?) for mounting all of your de-cased compinents to.
It was "like" the right die panel and back of the PC only. (manly so the cards have something rigid to mount to.

Anybody remember what I'm talking about?

here's a link to a Lian Li trayfor ~30 USD

Here are some tech stations that secure all the components for ~80 USD  They are sort of just ATX cases without cover panels.  They have good, secure looking expansion rails on them.

They have a lot of stuff you can easily spend money on.  The vandal switches and LEDs are awesome.
