WTB: Bottom bracket for Nintendo Bezel
« on: February 14, 2008, 12:32:35 pm »
I am in need of the black metal bracket that fits between the bottom of the DK bezel and the strip of wood where the instruction sticker is adhered. Mike doesn't have them.

Thanks.

Is this the one that slides over the bottom of the plexi bezel and allows you to lift the bezel out of the groove?

Superficial scan turned up none.  I'll go in for a deeper dive this weekend.  If you don't hear from me...send help!

One reason no one is making them, is the original plexi is thicker 3/8" I think, compared to the reproduction plexi which is 1/4" thick.  Another is you don't need the bottom strip of metal to keep the bezel in place.  The adjustment of the top retainer that slides from the back will keep it in place.

You may want to check KLOV.  A guy is parting out a DK cab and has the "bottom bit for the bezel"
