Happ Vision Pro 19" CGA Monitor
« on: February 01, 2008, 06:01:10 pm »
Ok, so I'm building a console racing cabinet using an old Pole Position like a couple folks have done and need some help please. I'm thinking of using one of the Happ 19" CGA arcade monitors with the Ultimarc adaptor to connect to an xbox, but trying to understand something about these monitors, http://happcontrols.com/monitors/49132900.htm.  Does this monitor not need a monitor chassis or does it come with one?  Also, is this the ones that doesn't need a transformer, but just uses an external 110V power cable instead?

What else am I missing here? Better idea for monitors?  Prefer to use a TV, but there is really not  a lot of room in the cabinet and if using the standard Pole Position glass the bottom of the montior/tv screen needs to be REALLY low.

Thanks, David

The Happ Vision Pro is a complete monitor, so yes it already has a chassis. It also does not need an isolation transformer.
