Can Mala repeat keys to scroll game list

I have searched and can not find a way to make the mala gamelist scroll by holding the joystick down like you can in Mamewah rather than going one at a time. I have done all the speed tweaks. I love everything else about Mala.

I have a Hotrod Joystick which used its own "special" encoder so I can not rely on it for key repeating.

I have no problems using MALA to do this. (scroll) I'll have to fire up the cab tonight and see if I can see where to set this up.

Only thing I could find on scrolling is under Options-Controller-Keyboard-Options.

Don't know if this is it (I have very little knowledge here) but I have the "use scrolling acceleration" box checked.

my cab which is using x-arcade doesnt scroll either :( 
using the keyboard arrows (which the x-arcade is mapped to) scrolls fine (without that acceleration option)


any other ideas?
