Cabinet kick plate
« on: January 31, 2008, 01:08:05 pm »
I would like to put a kick plate around the lower edge of my cab because I made it from melamine and it chips easily. The kick plates I've found online are too short. Any ideas of something found at Lowe's or Home Depot that I could use to protect the edges? It would really only need to be about 2" in width.

Door kick plates come in a lot of sizes, material, and price. Check these out on Amazon:

Also, you could search for the rubber stuff that goes on the sill of the doorway. Once you figure out what looks good online, hit up HD or Lowes in the door section. There is always Diamond plate which looks awesome, but is very pricey.

Good Luck,
