The more I look at this cabinet the more I admire it. I want one! Lokesen, I've got to thank you for sharing this and posting so much info about it on your website. I'm sure we'll start seeing more cabs built from your pattern.
However. . . I could do a little nit-picking, just because I reckon nothing's perfect.
What's with those holes in the bottom-front? I'm afraid I'd accidentally put my foot in there. It's called a kick panel for a reason.
Looking at the control panel, I see two buttons up front labeled "volume" and two labeled "stop" and "skip". That's a peculiar place for them. I can't help thinking I'd bump them while reaching over to the game controls. Why aren't those buttons at the back of the CP? (I would have squeezed a spinner in there somewhere too, but that's just my quirk.)
In your work photos it almost looks like the monitor is mounted with the pedestal still attached. It might have been possible to center it better (a bit lower) or even squeeze in a slightly larger LCD panel (20-inch?) by losing the pedestal, do you think?
I also think the marquee looks a bit skinny. If it'd been about 1-1/2" (or say 40mm) taller it would have looked more proportional, at least to my eyes.
The rest of the art is superb. I'm no good at that sort of stuff, but I really admire when I see the work some people put into their cabinet art.
You are pretty much right about everything

The holes are covered by steel mesh, so no putting your foot throgh there Beckham. I also need to have fairly large holes, as the subwoofer in the bottom needs it to sound awesome

. This thing is my only sound system.
You are right about the monitor, there is plenty room for it to be bigger and be lower placed. All I need to make that happen, is to make another bezel of plexiglass, my design is build so the monitor placement is fully adjustable, but the bezel isn't. So just need to buy another piece of plexi/lexan

There is no pedistal on the monitor by the way, so no real reason for it to be placed like it is.
I started the project with a X-arcade 2-player, and got used to the layout. That's why I have tweaked the X-arcade layout instead of making a more logical approach. But you don't hit the 4 "music" buttons by accident, they are placed better than on the x-arcade, so no worries.
I think the marquee should be a little bit taller too, but that's just too late im afraid

But I agree. This is my first arcade cabinet, and I have learned alot from building it.
Cheers,
