That would have been perfect for my cab.  If I had known about that (and could get reasonable assurance that it would work well) I would totally have gone for it.  I wonder how much that thing costs.  Cool.

i looked through the site and it seems like they are a new company.? there are no distributors, which would make it tough to get ahold of any product. they do have tb's that are pc compatible so they will work through a ps/2 port for sure. i would bet they have standard tb outputs as well on the other models, but that's an assumption, and you should know where that gets ya ;). how well they work might be a different story. anyone else have any thoughts?

they sure look cool if nothing else.

Most of their trackballs seem to be designed around the concept of being vandalproof. So they are built like a tank, but how do they perform? They may or may not be suitable for gaming.
Acceptance of Zen philosophy is marred slightly by the nagging thought that if all things are interconnected, then all things must be in some way involved with Pauly Shore.

I have to say... they look pretty damn sweet!

with the weight of the ball.. I'm guessing that they would rip your tendens trying to make quick turns thought...

but they look SWEET!

the company seems to have a TON of others that would also be great in a cab!

There are distributors for this, if you don't mind paying ~$200  for it. Nice, eh?

Actually, that was the price after converting pounds->us dollars. Among other things, I happen to comprehend currency exchange.

I saw that, too, but thought I wasn't reading it right or something.  I browsed their site and didnt' see any trackballs that were bigger than 75mm.  But THESE were just plain cool.

yeah that ball is tiny...if i'm going through the effort of building real arcade controls, i want a big arcade trackball.

frosty...you aren't kidding those buttons are way cool...but you'd have to sell your first born to build a 2 player fighter panel...hehe

mount it all in a nice diamond tread cp with big rivits or bolts holding it together

Maplin in the UK sell very similar (the same?) switches, I got one once for in my car.  FWIW I think they would suck as arcade buttons, they are quite hard to press and wouldn't be good in any games which require quick presses.  They do look nice tho.

what??? 38mm?  50mm max??

Thats an inch and a half or 2 inches!

Thats really really small!  Not arcade trackball sizes at all.. but more like standard PC style..

Now if they only had a set of real big balls!

....

That didn't sound right!

They have lot's of cool stuff there, none designed for gaming. These are designed to go on police-replacement kiosks in subway terminals that are too dangerous for real officers.
