Is this assembly hard to light?

From the picture it looks completely enclosed.

The Wico trackball I have has a small hole in the bottom for a light. It's an older model, but hopefully they all do!

My wico I got last summer still had the hole.  Looks like the hole is a "standard", as the happs and betson also have same size (1") holes.
