Do it, I'm tired of the double standard and how people get treated here based on a rep some people have in their mind about others. But some can't act on it while some can.

There are a lot of foolish people here who think they have it all working for them, it will be a sad awakening for them in life when the hit the bottom.

Delete me. This is not a place I want to be anymore.

Saint: If I stepped over a line, let me know. I didn't think I was being malicious in any way and I certainly wasn't trying to drive the guy off the deep end. Just kinda poking him through the cage bars, so to speak. Maybe I was just in a sarcastic mood.

And for crying-out-loud, don't brand me a troublemaker!

From the moment I read the first post, I was inclined to respond in the same manner.

Call me old, but at 42, divorced and single dad for 10 years, remarried now with 5 kids in the household ages 9 to 18, I am no hurry when driving.

Buzz here, buzz there, been there, done that......I can press the peddle to the metal when needed but for the most part I am at a point in my life of, when I get there, I get there. I am more inclined to give someone else the right of way than demand my turn first.

And I am certainly with Saint when it comes to kids and even personal potty time coming in front of ensuring I don't have a flaming PM to respond to.

Slow down, enjoy the scenery, you'll live longer, reduce stress in the process, and find some cool things along the way.

Was this about him getting a ticket while turning left on a red? What was that about anyway...

Or was it about him getting peeved about some client of his arguing about pitbulls while he was on the job? Like you do that sort of thing to a client....

agreed.... I drive to enjoy it and taking my time is less stressful and that much more enjoyable...

plus living in the mountains of NC the scenery is spectacular.....

Not that we want to relive it all again but to answer the man's question....

The original post was a rant about people who are in the right hand lane at an intersection planning to go straight not having foresight and courtesy to change lanes prior to getting there so the Tommy's of the world who plan to turn right do not have to wait for the light to change.

A fellow member challenged how silly the rant was and things ensued from there.

Perhaps the man was having a bad week, we all have them, but unless you plan to pop a vein at an early age, one must learn that everyone does not always share the same opinion....and sometimes you just have to agree that two parties disagree on a particular topic.

Some in this world are "always right" even when they are wrong and will beat something to death including themselves as they think if they get the "last word", they win.

Heh, that is pretty annoying.

Not every light is a right on red though, so I don't hold it against anyone who stays in the right lane - probably just out of habit.

Where I live there are a lot of intersections like that - but the signs indicating what lane is for what aren't visible until you're already there. Unless you already know, or happen to pick the right one, you're not getting over. It's random, too. Sometimes the right lane is straight/right, other times it is right only and the left lane is left/straight. It really is a crapshoot if you want to go straight.

Maybe Tommy figured signs didn't apply to him just like he figured others' opinions couldn't apply to his situation either

My guess is that we see a reappearance of Tommy if the Giants pull off the unthinkable, since his world revolves around (evidently) how great he believes the Giants to be, pitbulls CANNOT be killers, and how sucky the rest of the world is at driving while he reigns as King Crap of Turd Mountain
