ADSL Modem wanted.

I'm looking for a Speed stream 5861 or a Cayman 3220H.  I'm also looking for advice on how to repair a Cayman 3220H.  The unit powers up but I get no DSL light on the front.

I have both a speedstream dsl modem and a cayman dsl modem/router.  I don't know what models they are.

About your question:

If you have swbell dsl service, make sure you using PPP.OE for the connection protocol.  (Use PPP.OE for service that requires a username and password login each time you connect).

I have a Speed Stream 4060 DSL USB Modem, that was barely used. Works great.

Don't know if this is useful, but it's collecting dust.

I believe i have that model speedstream laying around unused as well...  (it's the ethernet kind NOT the usb style)

*shrug*  I see you already have found one person with it... I'd be willing to trade (arcade stuff/pc stuff)  if other options don't work out.

PS have you called your DSL provider to make sure you line is happy or for them to do any tests from the switch?

I also have an old USB Speedstream DSL modem. Not sure of the model number. It worked just fine last time I had the service.

I've got a speadstream 5200 USB or Ethernet modem that's never been used I'd sell ya.  I don't know why everyone is saying, "Don't know what model..."  Just look at the bottom of the modem.

I don't know what model I have because mine is in one of many boxes of assorted junk. I would have to find it before I knew what kind it was.
