Arcadshop has repro's for 40 bucks if you can't find NOS. I bought a Stargate repro from them, and it was very nice w/all proper orinal markings and copyright dates.

Hi,
Thanks.
I know that but as the repro is rpobably a Lexan finish, and I'd like to keep it 100% original, I'd like a plexi one.
I'm not a die hard NOS fan, with Atari stuff, repros and NOS are the same, but for Defender, that's quite different.
Same appears for SI Taito, plexi one, I have difficulties to put lexran grained stuff on it.

If only people would not smoke...
My CP is in overall good shape except that damsn cigarette burns :)

I purchased the arcadeshop repro and it is not lexan or plasitc... its a very soft but thick shinny vinyl... its the same thickness of the original but not rigid at all.  I was not certain I would like it at first but it's really nice... since finding NOS is difficult to impossible, its a really nice option (albeit a pricey one).  Also note, its not a "perfect" match either... it seemed as though mine was a bit too wide... so i needed to shave a bit off the sides.

The only people that would know the diff are arcade nerds like us anyway  ;)
Happy Gaming!
