Anyone know of 1 and 2 player buttons that are similar to happs in which the paint doesn't come off in 5 seconds???

While I haven't ever used them myself,  Lizardlick has yenox buttons very similar to the HAPP ones available.  I don't know if their paint is any better, but you could send Chad an email and ask him

Although I haven't had a chance to heavily use the Happ buttons you are referring to, they look very well made. I can't peel/rub off the paint with my fingernail or anything. Perhaps you got stuck with a dud?

Maybe, because the paint on mine started to flake off in a month.  What was left I just rubbed off.

Have you considered purchasing clear pushbuttons and then inserting the player 1, etc inserts?

That way it cannot rub off since the graphic is on the inside.

I picked up player 1 pushbuttons from groovygamegear.  I think they might be happ, but they are still going strong with all the paint.

The buttons I got from andi that have the p1 and p2 "paint" on them I am presuming are origonally from happ. I tried to use my fingernail to remove the decal, but other than a slight "noise" and the obvious nature of their being a different material on the surface of the plastic, I couldnt removed any of the "paint".  Maybe the person who posted this thread got a bad batch, or plays games WAY too much...

FYI: my p1 and p2 start buttons are supplied by ultimarc... dont know where andi gets them from tho.. (presumes happ)

Did you purchase them directly from Happ? Or a reputable retailer?

I use Happ 1 and 2ups and they are fine. Also, they will be screen printed and not painted.

Between a 2 and a 4 yr old and a job, I'm lucky to get to play once a week.  So it is not from over use.  Mine symbol was painted on, I could take it off with my fingernail(just tired on 2P) because it now looks like a plain white button.  I also bought it from Starburst Coin Machines who is a distributor of Happs  products in Canada, so it was from a reputable source.
