1 trackball and 2 spinners
« on: May 16, 2003, 12:22:47 pm »
Hi here

I was wondering it was possible to use 1 trackball and two spinners on one control panel (using an Optipac for example)?

I would like to use a trackball for some games, and then 1 or 2 spinners at the same time for other games...

Has someone ever experienced that ? Does it work? What do I need to make it work ? what are the restrictions if any?

Thanks a lot!

I think if you went the optipac route you'd be in good shape.

Analog+ Mame has a lot of great features for splitting mice inputs from their axis to offer maximum flexibility for mapping what controls what (although with an optipac I'm not sure that's necessary for 2 player spinner action)

*shrug*  If you wanted simulataneous trackballs concurrently it be a slightly different conversation (the best bet there would be using win98 and analog mame)
