Anyone using a Belkin Flip KVM Switch w/Remote in their cab?
« on: January 16, 2008, 01:09:08 pm »
I know KVMs have been discussed in the past but the technology has been shifting. Buy.com now has the Belkin Flip KVM Switch w/Remote - USB - F1DF102U on sale for $23 shipped.

I have a Sega Dreamcast and an emulator PC in my cab. I also have a funky swapable CP arrangement so standard switching techniques are little more complicated for me than most (and I'm gettin lazier in my age). But VGA and audio are pretty straight forward to switch.

I thought I could use this cheapie Belkin unit to easily switch VGA and audio sources between the Dreamast and the DC. I'd do the CP manually or by other means. And the remote button begs to be hacked into a cabinet button.  ;)

Anyone using one of these (or a similar cheapie KVM) in your cabinet?
