Ok, ive been searching endlessly for the name of a game I played years ago. Thinking really late 80's or early 90's...
As I remember, it was some sort of futuristic driving (racing?) game where you had this hovering (i think?) craft with wings sticking off it. You could break off these parts of your vehicle by as you ran into walls. I seem to remember your craft was red and white, although that might have been selectable.
The whole game moved pretty quick if i recall correctly, and one of the the big draws (i think) was that you drove down tunnels at certain points and you could drive up on the walls and possibly even the ceiling, similar to the latest F-Zero games.
I believe i played this game in some sort of sit-down arcade machine with a wheel of some sort if that helps. It also might have actually used polygons for some of all of the game, but I was definately too young to notice for sure....
Any assistance is much appreciated, and I hope im not inventing this game up in my mind from a handful of games I played as a kid
