IGN.com launches retro site
« on: January 15, 2008, 04:48:09 pm »
http://retro.ign.com/

An IGN site dedicated to gaming things retro. Pretty much all console stuff it appears, but I'm sure there is eventually going to be some arcade goodness.

Pretty cool.  Hopefully this doesn't draw a TON of attention to the emulation scene which would result in an influx of "not-so-good" people and legal departments.
Donkey Kong High Scores:
1): 49,500
2): 35,600
3): 30,100
4): 29,400
5): 28,200

This fear has arisen before, and even though its never been true in the past, its still impossible even if this time is different. All the good stuff is emulated and it's all out there in the wild for anyone that wants it. Too late for even the best corporate weasel to do anything about it.

I'd be interested, except IGN is such utter garbage these days. No editorial integrity whatsoever.
