Replacing an eprom (flashing)
« on: January 12, 2008, 05:33:29 pm »
Hello all,

I own an original beatmania 5-key machine, and I have one of my 9 upgrade kits with a single bad eprom. On the beatmania kits you insert the eproms on the board in the sockets, as there are 12 different versions of beatmania. I am trying to get a replacement chip for my complete mix kit, and have found the chips, but need a way to flash the new eprom. Does anyone provide a service to take a rom file from mame and reflash an original chip (like they do for more classic games)?

Thanks

sfrascella
