IPAC/2 WIth SlikStik Classic..PLEASE HELP!!
« on: January 04, 2008, 09:26:54 am »
Hello

I currently have a slikstik Arcadecab with a classic panel and a ipac/2 running in it (Standard config never changed) .  Has been running great for the last 4 years and just yesterday out of nowhere the player 1 joystick (8 way) and the 4 way joystick have stopped working.  The are mapped to the same keys (up down left right).  The only thing that works on the sticks is when I push up, it registers as a "v", also it only shows a "v" when I release it from the up position and this happens with both sticks.   Im clueless with the Ipac , does anyone have any suggstions how to fix this?  Also I did try it on 2 other PC"s and the same thing happens.  Running Windows xp. Thanks a million!!!

Sounds like either your Ipac got reset, or your output source isn't working correctly.

First thing first.   If you are using PS/2..go to USB...or if using USB go to PS/2.    After that, if still not working then reprogram it.

There are LED tests that I am sure Andy can help you with, but I would try the above if possible.
