Please help me ID a game
« on: January 03, 2008, 10:54:18 pm »
Great forum. :)

I am trying to identify a game circa 1988 or newer. I would have swore it starred Mr Do, but none of the listings at www.klov.com rang a bell.

Basically it was a multi-level, side-view game where your character had to rush around the screen, grabbing pieces to built some crazy contraption-like machine. Once built, you could drive the machine around the screen smashing the baddies.

Any help is greatly appreciated. :)

The only game I can think of that comes close to your description is Midway's Blue Print but that came out in 1982.

That's it! Thank you so much.

Our rural arcade was very late to get games apparently. :)

Darn ... and I knew this one!

I had never heard of it, but it is my brother-in-law's favourite game. Sadly for him, I just removed it from my vertical multi machine -- him playing it once a year just wasn't justifying keeping it around.
