You do realize only the Intv2 controls are removable right? They are hardwired into the Intv1.

Intv 1 controllers are removable after taking the console apart.  They pop right out just like the Intv controllers do. 

I don't care for the touchpad on the Intv 2 controllers.  I like feeling the numbers go down on the 1's more.

I never realized that.. I've had Intv's since I was like 9 and never took apart the Intv1 .  I took apart alot of the IIs even hacked a composite video out into one, but never cracked open the first one, I always just assumed.  I also prefer the ones from the Intv1.  They just have a better 'Feel' to them
