Can you get T-Molding from retail stores?
« on: May 14, 2003, 08:19:26 am »
Just curious.. I know it's more of a specialty item, but if anyone knows of a B&M store that sells them (particularly in the Cincy area) I'd like to know.

Thanks,

Crack.

I went to both Home Depot and Lowes and neither one of them had it. They didn't even have a suitable replacement.

heck home depot and lowes in arizona looked at me like i had a third eye for even asking for it...half of them didn't even know what I was talking about. Found it rather odd though, there is alot of office type furniture that use t-molding usually thicker than 3/4" but the same stuff...guess that isn't a do it yourself project eh?

When I asked they also thought I was a martian, but they didn't act strange when I brought a piece in. Instead they just looked everywhere for it, but never found any.

I saw t-molding at a cabinet making place. They only had black, brown, and orange though.

Rockler.com has it in Black, white, Brown and Tan.

They do have retail stores in some places. One of them is near me!  :D Another is in Cincinnati! And Columbus and Cleveland.

Woodcraft.com also has the same colors, and they also have some retail outlets.
One is near Cincinnati

As for the topic...I dont think any major retailer carries t-molding so get it online.
t-molding.com provides great service  :) so you might wanna order from them.
I got my molding in like 3 days ! while happs takes like a year !  :P
