TT2 spinner questions
« on: December 27, 2007, 06:59:33 am »
Does anyone have one of these with the energy storage cylinder, and can tell me the full depth of it under the CP?  I want to order one but need to make sure I have enough space.

Also, if the spinner is mounted at, say, a 45 degree angle... would the 5" mini-racer wheel stay on ok... how susceptible to "pulling it off" would it be compared to a normal horizontal mounting? (this question mainly pointed in Randy's direction).

Cheers

I'm not sure what the depth would be with the cylinder on, but I do know that if you order the "arcade token spinner" you don't need the energy storage cylinder.  If you don't like the token that it comes with, you can request it to not be glued on.  It looks perfectly fine without it.

good stuff... that token top looks like it will solve the depth problem... anyone know if you can still use the mini-racer wheels on the token top?

thanks

Yes you can, you simply unscrew the token top spinner (small screw on the side) and slip the mini-racer wheel on (no need to tighten it or anything).

Read more here (the owner Randy T who manufactures the TT2 responded)

Cheers again.

Does anyone have the Mini-racer wheel, either 5" or 6", and can tell me how much vertical space there is between the center bit that pops over the spinner and the outer wheel?

Even better, if someone could take a photo of the wheel side-on and post it here that would be great.  Just trying to see how much room there is for maneuvering for buttons etc...

Thanks!
