« on: December 19, 2007, 10:03:21 pm »
How do I set up Daphne so it can:

1. Work with MAMEWAH

2. Work with downloaded ROMs.

Thanks,

from what i understand the roms are only part of the issue, you still need dvds or laserdiscs of the game.
As it is possible , i believe the daphne guys prefer it if people buy a dvd from digital leisure, which can help set up daphne for you rather than any spurious source for the games.
got COLOR codes from projects, post them here

add stuff to the uk wiki section

It has been a while, but I think you need the Daphne emulator, ROM files, frame files, movie files (ex: OOG, M2V, and/or DAT) for each game.

Once you have all this stuff you can then try reading these threads to get ideas what people have done for MameWah:

http://www.mameworld.info/ubbthreads/showthreaded.php?Cat=&Number=124115&page=&view=&sb=5&o=&fpart=1&vc=1

http://www.mameworld.info/ubbthreads/showthreaded.php?Cat=&Number=107756&page=&view=&sb=5&o=&fpart=1&vc=1

OR

If you care to use MALA you can read my HowTo document on how I set up Daphne.    I believe the information is similar between Mala and MameWah but you just need to use the MameWah specific syntax inside the config files instead.

Anyway, best I can do for you .....  good luck

Daphne is fairly turn-key at this point.... assuming you have the dvds.
