Happ Competition joystick item question
« on: December 15, 2007, 09:55:39 am »
I went to order the black competition joys today, and am being told that item# 50-6070-16 COMPETITION J/S 8 WAY MS BLACK $14.40 is out of stock. The alternate item in stock is listed as item# 50-6070-160 COMPETITION JOYSTICK 8 WAY MS BLACK $13.95

Can anyone tell me the difference in those items? I am guessing that they are pretty much the same thing, but I don't want to order them and find out they aren't what I was expecting. Thanks guys!

Not real sure of the difference between them...but Divemaster and Ponyboy both have them cheaper on the B/S/T board.

I have dealt with both of these vendors...they are both top notch and have a very good reputation here at the forum.

Not sure what you mean by iL. the main reason I want these joys is because I have been pretty happy with them in the J-Rcade, and don't feel like gambling on another type since I haven't been able to get any tactile feedback on other models.

You are receiving a new part number because Happ is making the Comp Stick in China and no longer purchasing them from Industrias Lorenzo which is also known as iL.   If you want the same Comp Joysticks that are made by iL I have them in stock in all colors including the new color Orange.  The price will be slightly higher but you will have the SAME QUALITY you once purchased.

Thank you,

Ponyboy
