coin door question
« on: December 07, 2007, 06:50:28 pm »
hey guys i just want to make sure i have everything for a coin door.

im looking at this coin door
http://www.happcontrols.com/coindoors/40094600.htm
40-0946-00    4-Entry Multi-Player Over/Under Door w/o Cashbox or Enclosure

what i want is a 4 player coin door that will take .25 cents canadian, or one that takes any coins, basically loonies and quarters but thats not important, just quarters would be fine.

also do i need to get the coin mechs seperate or are they included with the happs coin door? and i want a cashbox too so im looking to get this one 42-0769-00 0 Cashbox for Multi-Player Over/Under Door

also what is the Enclosure? do i need it, cause it says the door doesn't come with an enclosure.
also do i need this: 42-3371-00  Mech Holder W/ Coin Switch

any help would be greatly appreciated :) just want to get it right the first time :)

The enclosure is just a metal box that goes on the inside of the cabinet to "enclose" the cash box. Extra theft protection type thing. For the price they are asking.....I'd skip it and it's really not needed.
(see diagram - http://www.happcontrols.com/coindoors/40094600_exploded.htm)

The cashbox you chose would be correct.

The coin door you're looking at comes with US $.25 mechs, so if you want Canadian $.25 mechs you will have to order them seperately.
