Act Labs gun shooting through a pane of glass
« on: December 02, 2007, 10:02:40 am »
Hello.

was wondering if the light gun was going to have a problem shooting through a pane of clear glass (or tinted) before hitting the crt monitor

Thanks in advance!

I have two of the older pc usb actlab guns on my cab with a sheet of 1/4" tinted plexi.  They work very well thru it... HOWEVER, I tried one of the newer guns they have been selling for the past year and it didn't like the plexi at all, If I took it off it worked fine, but the tint seemd to be effecting it.

Thanks.

I have a pair of the newer guns. It's clear glass, so hopefully it won't be an issue. Otherwise I'm going to be looking for a pair of the older ones.
